Frederick University partners with Kaimakli home for Alzheimer's awareness campaign

Frederick University and the Kaimakli Home 'Archangel Michael' have announced a collaborative initiative to launch an awareness campaign regarding Alzheimer’s disease. This project, falling under the Frederick University Living Lab (FULL) framework, will actively involve students from the Departments of Social Work and Arts and Communication.

The partnership was formally finalized during a recent meeting at Frederick University involving key stakeholders, including University Council President Natassa Frederidou, academics Dimitris Kokkinolampos, Dr. Koula Erotocritou, and Kostas Mantzalos. Representing the Kaimakli Home were Director Ersi Papagianni and Assistant Director Thanos Karagiannis. The campaign aims to improve public understanding of the disease, with a primary focus on humanizing the experience of those affected by Alzheimer's.
