Ministry of Education urges parents to register on eDEA platform by October 2026

The Ministry of Education, Sports and Youth has issued a directive requiring parents and legal guardians to register their children on the eDEA (Electronic Education and Administration) platform by the end of October 2026. This administrative update is part of a broader government initiative to streamline student enrollment and transfer processes across the public education system.

The requirement applies to all students attending public primary schools and those of mandatory school age in kindergartens for the 2026-2027 academic year. To comply, parents must first create an account on the official government portal, CY Login, followed by the establishment of both a Parent/Guardian Profile and a Student Profile within the eDEA system.

This platform was previously utilized during the 2025-2026 school year exclusively for primary school enrollment and transfers. The current expansion is designed to modernize existing administrative services and enhance the digital infrastructure of the educational system. Parents who have not yet completed this registration are advised to prioritize the process to ensure full compliance with the new academic requirements set by the ministry.
