Cyprus weather forecast predicts unsettled conditions and temperature drop

Cyprus is currently experiencing the influence of seasonal low pressure, which is expected to bring unsettled weather conditions across the island throughout the week. While initial days feature clear skies and temperatures reaching up to 37C inland, the development of localized clouds after midday will lead to isolated rain and possible thunderstorms, particularly in mountainous regions.

From Wednesday through Saturday, the forecast indicates a progressive increase in cloud cover, with rain and storms becoming more frequent. Thursday is expected to bring localized rain and isolated storms, with the potential for hail and suspended dust in the atmosphere. By Friday, the weather will remain mostly cloudy with scattered showers, while Saturday will see isolated afternoon rain primarily inland and over the mountains.

Temperatures are projected to fall noticeably and gradually starting from Wednesday, reaching a peak of approximately 36C inland on that day and dropping further toward the weekend. Coastal temperatures will generally hover between 31C and 33C, with higher mountainous regions seeing lower values, falling to around 28C. Authorities expect these conditions to persist with unsettled patterns continuing into the weekend.
