Krasava ENY Ypsonas struggles with winless start to season
Krasava ENY Ypsonas has suffered a difficult start to the current championship season, recording three consecutive losses in its first three matches. The team remains at the bottom of the league table with zero points, having faced Omonia 29th of May, Omonia Aradippou, and Aris Limassol. Statistics highlight a significant struggle, as the team has scored only one goal while conceding six, making it the lowest-scoring squad in the league.
Despite the lack of points, coach Ivan Stojkovic noted improvements in the team's performance, particularly during the first half of the match against Aris. However, a defensive error in the 84th minute, which allowed Efage to score the winning goal, proved costly. Compared to last season's opening, the club is currently six points behind their previous record, a fact that has caused concern within the organization.
The team is now focusing on its upcoming 4th round match, an away game against Omonia at the GSP Stadium. Technical staff, including Chygrynskyi, are emphasizing the need for better defensive organization and improved efficiency in front of the goal, acknowledging that the upcoming fixture will be a challenging test.
