Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus organizes a beach cleanup in Limassol

On September 20, 2026, the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus (ICPAC), in collaboration with the Let’s Do It! Cyprus movement, will host a beach cleanup event in Limassol. The initiative is scheduled to take place from 10:00 to 13:00 at the beach near Gazebo Mare and Aktaia Odos in the Karnagio area. Limassol Mayor Giannis Armeftis is expected to attend the event.

The program includes an opening address by ICPAC’s Corporate Social Responsibility and Limassol-Paphos coordination committees, followed by an educational seminar on the 17 Sustainable Development Goals led by Panos Dimitriou, Head of CSR at Let’s Do It! Cyprus. Participants will be awarded certificates for their involvement, and accounting professionals can receive three non-verifiable Continuing Professional Development (CPD) units for their attendance. The activity is officially registered on the World Cleanup Day global map.

This event is part of ICPAC’s corporate social responsibility commitment to promoting sustainable development principles. By inviting families to participate, organizers aim to foster environmental awareness among children from a young age.
