Karaiskakio Foundation to participate in the 2026 European Researchers' Night

The Karaiskakio Foundation will participate in the European Researchers’ Night 2026, scheduled for Friday, September 25, 2026, at the Cyprus State Fair in Nicosia. This event, organized by the Research and Innovation Foundation (RIF) under the theme “CELEBRATE 2.0 – Two Decades of STEAM-Powered Inspiration,” marks the 20th anniversary of the initiative and aims to engage the public and youth in science and innovation.

This year’s participation holds special significance for the Karaiskakio Foundation, as it coincides with the organization’s 30th anniversary of scientific contribution and voluntary service. At booth number 34, the foundation will host an interactive educational activity titled “Become a Donor, Give Life: The Science behind Bone Marrow and Organ Donation.”

Through this initiative, visitors will learn about the scientific processes involved in finding compatible donors and the importance of bone marrow and organ donation in saving lives. The event serves as a platform to raise awareness about the foundation's long-standing dedication to medical research and its efforts to encourage new registrations for life-saving donor programs.
