Antonis Remos reveals poignant final moments of Vasilis Karras

Greek singer Antonis Remos recently shared intimate details regarding the final days of his late friend and colleague, the legendary artist Vasilis Karras. In an interview with Kosmoradio 95.1 in Thessaloniki, timed with the announcement of his 30-year career anniversary concert, Remos recounted a final visit he paid to Karras shortly before the artist's passing. Remos was accompanied by Dimitris Xochoidis during this emotional encounter.

During the visit, Remos observed that Karras had lost a significant amount of weight and was confined to his bed. The singer had positioned himself to face a large window overlooking the Thessaloniki airport runway. Karras described this view as a source of strength in his fight against his illness, noting that he remained calm because he had settled all his personal affairs. Remos recalled that Karras spoke of having his soul at peace, emphasizing that he had ensured everything was in order for those around him before his final struggle.
