Association of Greek Professionals in Cyprus hosts business summit

The Association of Greek Professionals in Cyprus (SELEK) held an event on September 15, 2026, titled "Greek Business in Cyprus: Current Reality and Prospects." The gathering, attended by prominent business, banking, and institutional figures from Greece and Cyprus, focused on strengthening bilateral economic ties.

Keynote speaker Haris Theocharis, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Greece, highlighted that bilateral economic and investment relations are at an all-time high. He advocated for treating the two nations as a unified economic space to ensure geopolitical stability. SELEK President Konstantinos Daltas emphasized the organization's role as a networking bridge for the Greek business community in Cyprus, operating under the institutional umbrella of the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KEVE).

The event featured two thematic panel discussions moderated by SELEK Vice President Konstantinos Kosmas. The first panel focused on investments, financing, and development, aiming to foster deeper synergy between the two countries' economic ecosystems.
