PASYKAF celebrates 40th anniversary and launches annual fundraising campaign
On Tuesday, September 15, 2026, the Pancyprian Association of Cancer Patients and Friends (PASYKAF) held a media event at the CVAR–Severis Foundation to mark its 40th anniversary of providing support to cancer patients and their families. The event served as the official launch for the organization's 35th annual Awareness and Fundraising Campaign.
The central focus of the gathering was the presentation of the commemorative album titled "40 Years Together in Life." This publication documents four decades of the association's history, highlighting the stories, challenges, and milestones that have defined its mission. Beyond a simple record of events, the album acknowledges the collective efforts of the individuals who have contributed to the organization's development and its continued impact on the lives of those affected by cancer.
Founded four decades ago, PASYKAF has become a vital pillar for patient support in Cyprus. The current initiative underscores the association's ongoing commitment to sustaining its specialized services. By launching this year's fundraising campaign, PASYKAF aims to ensure the continuity of its essential assistance programs, which remain a primary focus for the organization as it looks toward its future operations and continued community engagement.
