Building in Linopetra, Limassol hit by gunfire

On Wednesday, September 16, 2026, at approximately 10:50 p.m., an unknown perpetrator or perpetrators opened fire on a building in the Linopetra area of Limassol. The gunfire caused visible damage to the glass of the main entrance and a window on the first floor. Initial reports indicate that the targeted structure houses offices belonging to a company and a foreign national.

Police officials arrived at the scene, which was cordoned off for the collection of evidence. According to reports from the Cyprus Times, security cameras recorded two individuals with covered faces riding a motorcycle toward the building before opening fire and subsequently fleeing the area.
