Minnesota woman goes viral for resemblance to Jennifer Lopez after theft arrest

On August 30, 2026, 35-year-old Cyrena Anne Quast was arrested in Monticello, Minnesota, by the Wright County Sheriff's Office. She is accused of stealing two double packs of power tool batteries, valued at approximately 580 dollars, from a local store. Authorities stated that an employee identified Quast as the same person involved in a previous theft at the same location two days earlier, leading to her apprehension. The suspect reportedly admitted to the theft during the police investigation.

While the legal case proceeds, Quast has gained significant internet fame. Her official mugshot circulated widely across social media platforms because of her striking physical resemblance to 57-year-old superstar Jennifer Lopez. Users have inundated the internet with comparisons to the singer, often referencing her song "Jenny from the Block" or suggesting the incident is a glitch in the Matrix. Despite the online attention surrounding her appearance, the legal proceedings regarding the theft charges remain the primary focus of the authorities.
