EOA Larnaca streamlines telephone services for public licensing

Starting September 17, 2026, the Larnaca District Self-Government Organization (EOA) has introduced a centralized telephone system to streamline public inquiries regarding development licensing. Citizens can now contact the service daily from 08:00 to 14:00 by calling a single unified number, 24-501700, regardless of the specific nature of their request.

The new system utilizes specialized software designed to handle inquiries across various departments, including Planning Permission, Building Permission, and Enforcement. Previously, members of the public were required to contact different numbers on specific days and times depending on the department they needed to reach, which created significant administrative hurdles.

According to the official announcement by EOA Larnaca, this initiative is part of an ongoing modernization effort aimed at making public services more organized and accessible. By removing the need for citizens to identify the responsible officer or sector in advance, the organization intends to reduce waiting times and improve the efficiency of the licensing application process for all applicants.
