Omonia Aradippou set to re-sign midfielder Niko Havelka

Cypriot football club Omonia Aradippou, currently enjoying a successful start to the season with five points from three matches, has reached an agreement to re-sign Croatian midfielder Niko Havelka. Following his departure at the end of the previous season, the player remained a free agent, and the club has utilized the transfer window regulations allowing teams to sign unemployed players to strengthen their rosters.

Havelka, who previously played for the team for three consecutive years, has expressed his willingness to return for a fourth season. The formalization of the contract is currently pending the completion of mandatory medical examinations. Meanwhile, head coach Giannos Okkas is continuing preparations with the existing squad for the upcoming home match against Olympiakos this Sunday.
