The City of Dreams Mediterranean resort in Limassol, Cyprus, is celebrating its third anniversary of operation. Developed by Melco Resorts & Entertainment, the facility was established with the vision of transforming Cyprus into a year-round luxury tourism destination, effectively moving beyond the traditional reliance on seasonal sun-and-sea tourism.

Since its opening in July 2023, the resort has recorded over eight million visits. The management highlights this milestone as evidence of the project's success in contributing to the local tourism economy. However, the operators note that while significant progress has been made, addressing the persistent issue of seasonality remains a key challenge for the broader industry, requiring new incentives to attract travelers during the winter months.
