Stoiximan Super League disciplinary actions against major clubs and executives

The Stoiximan Super League primary disciplinary body has issued sanctions against several top Greek football clubs and executives following reports from the first and fourth matchdays of the 2026 season. The governing body summoned clubs including Panathinaikos, PAOK, AEK, Olympiacos, and Aris to answer for various matchday irregularities, citing reports from match observers, the HEAB (Sports Violence Prevention Committee), and local police.

Specifically, Theodoros Karypidis, a senior figure at Aris, has been handed a 15-day ban from entering the field and locker room areas. This decision stems from an incident during halftime at the Toumba stadium match against PAOK, where Karypidis allegedly approached the officiating team and insulted Léo Matos. Meanwhile, financial penalties have been levied against several clubs for minor infractions. Olympiacos was fined a total of 2,500 euros, while Panathinaikos and AEK each received fines of 1,000 euros for their respective matchday misconducts.

The disciplinary actions reflect the league's efforts to enforce regulations following a period of heightened scrutiny regarding matchday operations and official conduct. While the current penalties have been announced, no further appeals or extended proceedings have been officially confirmed at this stage.
