CySEC revokes licences for investment firms Eurotrade Investments RGB and R.I.A.L

The Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) has officially revoked the Cyprus Investment Firm (CIF) licence of Eurotrade Investments RGB Ltd, identified by authorisation number 279/15. The regulator’s decision, finalized during an August 3 board meeting and announced on September 17, 2026, stems from the company's failure to adhere to Articles 9(16) and 17(2) of the Investment Services and Activities and Regulated Markets Law. Specifically, the firm failed to ensure that at least two individuals were effectively directing its business activities and did not maintain the required organisational arrangements.

In a related development, the Investors Compensation Fund (ICF) has terminated the membership of R.I.A.L Raising Investment Advisory Ltd following the regulator's decision to revoke its CIF authorisation. CySEC clarified that while this membership has been removed, it does not void the rights of eligible clients to seek compensation for investment operations performed prior to the revocation. The compensation process remains active for covered clients who meet the necessary regulatory conditions. The regulator emphasizes that these actions are part of its enforcement of market standards to protect investors and maintain operational compliance within the Cypriot investment sector.
