Second matchday of the B' Category championship underway in Cyprus

The second matchday of the Cypriot B' Category football championship began on September 18, 2026, featuring two opening games. Spartakos Kitiou defeated MEAP 4-1, while Iraklis Gerolakkou and Ayia Napa played to a 1-1 draw. The competition continues on September 19 with five matches, including a notable game between Akritas Chlorakas and ASIL Lysis.

Regarding the venue for the Akritas versus ASIL Lysis match, the Cyprus Football Association (CFA) officially announced that the game was moved from the Stelios Kyriakides stadium to the Chloraka Community Stadium, while other fixtures are spread across various venues including the Ethnikos Achnas stadium and the Ammochostos-Epistrofi stadium.

The second round will conclude on Sunday, September 20, with the match between Ermis Aradippou and PAEEK. Following the completion of this round, the championship will pause to accommodate national team obligations. League action is scheduled to resume on Saturday, October 10, 2026.
