Lena Panagiotou appointed Deputy Director General of OEB

The Board of Directors of the Cyprus Employers and Industrialists Federation (OEB) unanimously approved the promotion of Lena Panagiotou to the position of Deputy Director General. The decision was reached during a meeting held on September 17, 2026, following a proposal by the organization's Executive Committee. Her new appointment is scheduled to take effect on January 1, 2027.

Panagiotou has been a long-standing member of the OEB, having joined the federation in 2004 as an officer in the Department of Industrial Relations and Social Policy. She advanced to the position of Department Director in 2017 and has served as Assistant General Director since January 2024. An alumna of the English School of Nicosia, she holds a law degree and a master's degree in International Relations from the University of Leeds. This strategic leadership change is intended to bolster the federation's management as it continues to represent business interests across Cyprus.
