Social media influencer murdered in Brazil

On Wednesday, September 16, 2026, 21-year-old social media influencer Evelyn Lima Dantas was shot to death outside her home in Brazil. The attack occurred in the presence of her father while the victim was standing on the sidewalk. Two unidentified perpetrators approached the woman and fired multiple shots before fleeing the scene, reportedly spray-painting the initials "TCP" on the front of her house, a tag associated with the Terceiro Comando Puro criminal organization in Rio de Janeiro.

The murder is currently under investigation by local authorities, who are exploring a potential link between the victim and the killing of a 56-year-old retired police officer, Antonio Anildo Alves da Silva, who was fatally shot outside a supermarket on July 29.
