Production changes for The Voice Greece following death of Giorgos Mazonakis

Following the sudden passing of singer Giorgos Mazonakis at the age of 54, the Greek television network SKAI is undergoing significant production adjustments for the upcoming season of the talent show The Voice. The program, which requires a panel of four coaches to maintain its strict international format, faced an immediate vacancy that necessitated a replacement for the late artist, who was slated for his third year on the show.

Reports indicate that singer Paola will join the coaching panel alongside Helena Paparizou, Christos Mastoras, and Panos Mouzourakis. While initial reports from some media outlets described the casting as being in late-stage negotiations, later sources confirmed her appointment to the chair. Consequently, the start of the show has been postponed from its original late September schedule to mid-October. The production is hosted by Giorgos Lianos, and efforts are currently underway to finalize the logistics to accommodate the new jury lineup for the upcoming recordings.
