Paphos Chamber of Commerce leads new Erasmus+ project on digital skills

The Paphos Chamber of Commerce and Industry (EVEP) is serving as the lead partner for the new two-year Erasmus+ project titled “Enhancing Youth Education in Blockchain, AI and Web3 through International Exchange” (Project 2026-1-CY01-KA220-YOU-000467513). The initiative was officially launched during an opening meeting held in Pescara, Italy, which concludes with a two-day conference focused on blockchain technology.

Representing EVEP at the event are Stefanos Hadjiioannou, officer for European programs and educational training, and chamber expert Paris Paraskevas. The project aims to improve the education and technical skills of young people regarding emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, blockchain, and Web3. This is achieved through international cooperation and the development of innovative educational initiatives among participating countries, which include Cyprus, Italy, and Spain.

The project is scheduled to run for two years. As part of its implementation, further conferences dedicated to blockchain technology are planned to take place in Cyprus and Spain to continue the exchange of knowledge, expertise, and best practices regarding these digital tools in youth development.
