Police search for two missing individuals in Cyprus

Authorities in Cyprus are currently searching for two missing individuals, a 77-year-old man from Larnaca and a 16-year-old girl from Nicosia. Ioannis Kasiotis, a 77-year-old resident of Oroklini, was reported missing on September 19, 2026. He is described as having a thin build, approximately 1.80m tall, with white hair. He was last seen driving a blue Mercedes vehicle with license plate KZU874. Information regarding his whereabouts should be directed to the Larnaca CID at 24-804060 or the Citizen's Line at 1460.

Separately, 16-year-old Sotiroula Oikonomidou has been reported missing from her residence in Aglantzia as of September 20, 2026. The teenager is described as having a thin build, approximately 1.60m tall, with long black hair and black eyes. At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing leopard-print long trousers and a white t-shirt. Authorities have requested that anyone with information regarding her location contact the Nicosia CID at 22-802222 or utilize the Citizen's Line at 1460. Both investigations remain ongoing as the police continue their efforts to ensure the safe return of both missing persons.
