Omonia enters international break following victory over Krasava ENY

Omonia Nicosia successfully concluded its recent match cycle with a 4-1 victory over Krasava ENY in the fourth round of the Cyprus League by Stoiximan at the GSP Stadium. Before the match, manager Henning Berg and goalkeeper Thomas Kaminski emphasized the importance of maintaining focus and performance consistency for the remainder of the season, highlighting the challenge posed by every opponent in the league.

Following the match, the team has entered a three-week break due to international fixtures. Manager Henning Berg has granted the squad a one-week leave, with training at the Elias Poullos center scheduled to resume on September 28. During this period, the club faces a significant reduction in its roster availability, as 12 players have been called up to represent their respective national teams, including representatives for Cyprus, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, and Haiti. Despite these absences, the coaching staff is actively working to arrange a friendly match to ensure the remaining players stay match-fit for the upcoming demanding schedule in both the domestic league and the Europa League.

Currently, Kaminski, Lubomir Satka, and Panagiotis Andreou remain the only players who have played every minute of the four league rounds. The team continues to show tactical depth, having utilized 22 players so far this season.
