Omonia prepares for international break following league duties

Omonia Nicosia recently engaged in their fourth round match of the Cyprus League by Stoiximan against Krasava ENY at the GSP Stadium. Following the recent league obligations, manager Henning Berg has granted his squad a one-week break to recover from a demanding schedule that began in July. The team is scheduled to reconvene at the Elias Poullos training facility on Monday, September 28. Despite the break, the club faces a significant reduction in available personnel due to international call-ups. Players including Duvern, Tanase, Balkovec, Satka, Neophytou, Christou, Kakoullis, Andreou, Fabiano, Michael, Evangelou, and Konstantinidis have joined their respective national squads. In light of the reduced training numbers, the technical staff is currently working to arrange a friendly match to maintain team sharpness during the intermission.
