Key witness emerges in Giorgos Mazonakis investigation
Authorities investigating the case surrounding singer Giorgos Mazonakis have identified a key person of interest, a woman from the artist's professional circle. Reports indicate she acted as an intermediary, arranging meetings between the singer and a hypnotherapist. Evidence suggests that she initiated two phone calls to the hypnotherapist to finalize the appointment, which subsequently took place at a restaurant in Psychiko. Crucially, it was reportedly the woman, not the artist himself, who communicated with the hypnotherapist to push for the meeting.
This development comes as investigators probe the hypnotherapist's connection to a 56-year-old doctor currently in detention. The hypnotherapist is scheduled to provide testimony to the investigator on Monday, September 21, 2026. He is expected to submit a detailed chronological log of events, including records of all calls and text messages exchanged with both the female intermediary and the incarcerated physician. Authorities are considering calling the woman to testify in the coming days to clarify her role in these events and the nature of her persistent outreach to the hypnotherapist.
