Atromitos signs Dani Garcia and nears Kelvin Ofori deal

Atromitos Peristeri has strengthened its squad by signing 36-year-old midfielder Dani Garcia as a free agent on a one-year contract. Garcia, who previously played for Olympiacos, had made only three appearances this season—two with Nijmegen and one in Volos—and was excluded from manager Imanol Alguacil's recent squad selections, including the match against Levadiakos on September 20, 2026.

In addition to Garcia's acquisition, Atromitos is finalizing the transfer of 25-year-old Ghanaian attacking midfielder Kelvin Ofori. The player has already arrived in Athens and is scheduled to undergo medical examinations by Tuesday to complete the move. The club aims to enhance its depth and quality, leveraging Garcia’s extensive experience, which includes appearances in the Champions League and significant stints at Eibar (224 matches) and Athletic Bilbao (195 matches). Garcia joined Olympiacos in 2024, where he recorded 72 appearances before this recent transition to Peristeri.
