Second Waves of Love charity event held in Limassol

On September 20, 2026, more than 100 runners and swimmers gathered at the former Thalassaki area in Limassol for the second annual 'Waves of Love' event. The initiative was organized by the Cyprus Anti-Cancer Society and the group 'Thalassinoi Filoi' to raise awareness and provide financial support for people living with cancer and their families.

This year's event was dedicated to the memory of Nausika, an educator and athlete known for her contributions to the community. Participants contributed through their presence in the athletic challenge and monetary donations. These funds will support the Cyprus Anti-Cancer Society in providing free palliative and supportive care services.
