Four teenagers arrested in Limassol following series of attacks

Police in Limassol have arrested four teenagers in connection with a violent robbery that took place on Sunday evening in the Potamos Germasogeias area. Authorities report that a group of approximately ten individuals targeted a food delivery driver riding a motorcycle. The perpetrators assaulted the victim and forcibly stole his motorcycle, his mobile phone, and approximately 100 euros in cash.

Following the incident, police are investigating a second assault involving a similar group of roughly ten young people who attacked another delivery driver in a village in eastern Limassol. No items were reported stolen in the second incident. Patrols from the OPE and MMAD units responded to the area, identifying youths attempting to target further delivery personnel. A pursuit ensued, leading to the interception and arrest of four minors currently linked to the initial robbery. The investigation into both occurrences remains ongoing, and the four suspects are scheduled to appear before the Limassol district court on Monday to face potential remand orders.
