Cyprus business community prepares for mandatory electronic invoicing

The Cyprus Employers and Industrialists Federation (OEB) has called on the local business community to assess its readiness for the upcoming shift toward electronic invoicing and digital reporting. This transition, mandated by forthcoming European and national regulations, requires businesses to upgrade their information systems and internal processes to ensure compliance with future data submission standards.

To facilitate this transition, an interdepartmental working group has launched an online questionnaire designed to map the current state of the market. The survey seeks to identify potential challenges, measure organizational preparedness, and determine what support measures the state should provide to ensure a smooth implementation. The results will be used to plan the next phases of the digital integration process.

The questionnaire is available in both Greek and English. All businesses are encouraged to participate to ensure their needs are captured by the authorities, with a final submission deadline set for Sunday, September 27.
