Bomb threat at private school in Nicosia proves to be a hoax

A bomb threat directed at a private school in Nicosia was identified as a hoax on Monday morning, September 21, 2026, leading to a temporary security response. The threat was initially sent via email on the previous Friday when the school was closed, which resulted in the message going unnoticed until school staff discovered it on Monday morning and immediately alerted the authorities.
