Cyprus promotes local products at SIAL Guangzhou 2026

Cyprus participated in the SIAL Guangzhou 2026 international food and beverage exhibition, held from September 3 to 5 at the Poly World Trade Centre Expo in Guangzhou, China. The Ministry of Energy, Commerce and Industry, in collaboration with the Cyprus Trade Center in Beijing, operated an informational pavilion to promote Cypriot business outreach and strengthen trade relations with China.

The event hosted over 1,500 exhibitors from 50 countries and attracted more than 66,000 professional visitors. The Cypriot booth highlighted high-quality national products, including wine, Commandaria, Zivania, and fruit juices. Notably, the Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Research and Innovation of Thailand was among the visitors to the pavilion. Cypriot fruit juices were further selected for special presentations during the organizers' events, showcasing the international competitiveness of local goods.

This initiative aimed to enhance the global visibility of Cypriot exports and facilitate new commercial partnerships. By engaging with professional buyers in the Chinese market, Cyprus seeks to improve the export potential of its agricultural and food manufacturing sectors.
