Apollon spokesperson comments on APOEL draw and team recovery

Following the recent 2-2 draw between Apollon and APOEL, Apollon spokesperson Fanourios Konstantinou stated that the result was fair based on the fast-paced performance of both teams. He acknowledged that while the team's current points tally from the opening cycle against major opponents like Aris, Anorthosis, and Omonia could have been higher, they remain within three points of the league leaders, a gap the club believes is manageable.

During the current international break, the coaching staff has granted the players a six-day rest period to recover. Apollon is also focusing on managing its injury list, with four of the seven sidelined players—Ljubic, Brown, Ozbolt, and Gaspar—expected to return for the next match. Notably, striker Ozbolt has been undergoing a specialized recovery program after losing four kilograms due to illness. Additionally, the team has scheduled a friendly match against AEK for October 3 to maintain match fitness.
