Breakfast for All programme returns to Cyprus kindergartens

The "Breakfast for All" pilot programme has been relaunched for the new school year in kindergartens across the Larnaca and Famagusta districts. According to Education Minister Athena Michaelidou, the initiative provides free daily meals to approximately 3,600 children as part of a government effort to support families and encourage healthy eating habits from an early age.

The programme has undergone revisions based on feedback from nutritionists, educators, and parents to ensure the quality and safety of the meals provided. The Ministry of Education, Sports and Youth emphasized that the initiative will remain under strict supervision, including regular checks and continuous evaluation to monitor the health and welfare of the participating students.
