Aegean wins best regional airline in Europe award for 15th consecutive year

On Monday, September 21, 2026, the Greek airline Aegean was honored as the 'Best Regional Airline in Europe' at the Skytrax World Airline Awards held at the Langham Hotel in London. This achievement marks the 15th consecutive year the carrier has received the title, totaling 16 wins over its 27-year operational history.

In addition to the regional European distinction, Aegean secured fourth place in the global ranking for the title of 'World's Best Regional Airline.' The awards are determined by the world's largest independent passenger satisfaction survey conducted by Skytrax, an international airline rating organization often described as the industry's benchmark for excellence. Representatives from the airline, including members of the cabin crew, accepted the award in London.
