Cyprus Natural History Museum marks 30th anniversary with festival

The Photos Photiades Foundation is celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Cyprus Natural History Museum with a special festival on Saturday, October 3, 2026. The event will take place at the Photos Photiades Breweries facilities from 09:00 to 16:00, with free admission for the general public.

Centered around the theme "Nature • Knowledge • Exploration," the festival is designed for children and families. It aims to promote environmental awareness and highlight the diverse natural wealth of Cyprus. The program offers interactive experiences ranging from ancient biological history to the study of modern local ecosystems, including sea life, wetlands, and various plant species.

Established three decades ago by the foundation, the museum serves as a key institution for environmental education and the preservation of natural heritage. This commemorative festival represents a continuation of the museum's mission to engage the public in the scientific study and appreciation of the surrounding environment through creative and discovery-based learning.
