President meets with the King of Jordan: Focus on bilateral relations and EU-Jordan ties

President of Cyprus Nikos Christodoulides met with King Abdullah II of Jordan in New York on the sidelines of the 81st UN General Assembly. The leaders discussed regional stability in the Middle East, bilateral ties, and EU-Jordan relations, including the 2025 strategic partnership. Cooperation in civil protection, specifically regarding firefighting aerial support, and the trilateral framework with Greece were also key topics.
