Open Sports Festival 2026 to be held in Limassol

The sixth annual Open Sports Festival is set to take place in Cyprus, featuring three days of athletic competitions scheduled for October 17, 23, and 24, 2026. The main event will be hosted on Saturday, October 24, at The Heritage Private School in Limassol, where over 2,500 professionals representing more than 60 companies will compete across 18 different sports and games. A special networking event is also planned for October 20.

The festival, which serves as the largest corporate sporting event in Cyprus, allows both local and international companies to participate without qualification requirements or minimum team sizes. Companies may register anywhere from one individual to 200 employees. New to the 2026 program is the inclusion of rugby tag, which will be held on the final day in partnership with the Cyprus Rugby Federation.

The tournament officially begins on October 17 with the Corporate Chess Tournament by Àlber Blanc. This opening competition will feature a special appearance by internationally renowned grandmaster Ian Nepomniachtchi. Participants and organizers are currently preparing for these multi-day athletic activities, which represent the continued growth of corporate team-building events in the region.
