Obituary notices for Nearchos Nearchou and Antonis Kyprianou

Two funeral services have been scheduled in Cyprus for late September 2026. Nearchos Nearchou, aged 74, passed away on Sunday, September 20, 2026. His funeral is set to take place on Tuesday, September 22, at 14:00 at the Panagia Evangelistria Church in Kato Polemidia. Separately, Antonis Kyprianou, aged 88 and originally from Pelendri, passed away on Monday, September 21, 2026. A resident of Germasogeia, he will be honored with a funeral service on Friday, September 25, at 11:00 at the Profitis Ilias Church in Germasogeia, followed by his burial in the village of Moniatis. The family will receive condolences at the church starting at 10:00. Donations in his memory may be made to the Cyprus Red Cross Youth Department and the Ithaki Foundation.
