Cyprus Sports Writers Association holds annual general meeting

The Cyprus Sports Writers Association (EAK) held its annual and statutory general assembly on Monday, September 21, 2026, at the Allwyn 'Ef Agonizesthai' hall in the Olympic House in Nicosia. The meeting was attended by a significant number of members and conducted in a constructive atmosphere.

The proceedings commenced with a minute of silence in memory of deceased members Dimitris Dimitriou, Kostas Aravis, Lakis Foitidis, and Doros Challoumis. EAK President Herodotus Miltiadous delivered the annual report of the Board of Directors, while Treasurer Marios Chatzistyllis presented the financial statement and the audit committee's report. General Secretary Marina Argyrou announced the induction of new regular members. The event was attended by honorary president Panagiotis Felloukas and legal advisors Giannis and Michalis Ioannou.
