Anorthosis Famagusta players called up to international duty

Five Anorthosis Famagusta players have been selected for their respective Cyprus national teams for upcoming fixtures. Kostakis Artymatas has been called up by head coach Apostolos Mantzios for the senior men's team. The senior squad faces Montenegro on September 25 and Latvia on September 28, followed by home matches at GSP Stadium against Armenia on October 2 and Latvia on October 5.

For the U-21 national team, coach Marios Nikolaou has selected Dimitrianos Tzouliou and Evagoras Charalambous. Their schedule includes a home match against Romania on September 25, an away game against Kosovo on September 30, and a home fixture against San Marino on October 6. Andreas Avraam and Theodoros Kalogirou have also been called up to represent the U-19 national team under new coach Christos Charalambous.

In addition to these national team absences, Anorthosis provided a medical update on player Tosic, stating his injury is minor and he is expected to return to training within days. Meanwhile, Bergstrom is using the international break to improve his fitness, while the club is currently planning at least one friendly match to maintain squad rhythm during the pause in domestic competition.
