Cyprus referees hold annual blood donation in memory of Panos Theodorou

On September 22, 2026, the Cyprus Referees and Observers Association (SY.PA.D.P.), in collaboration with Anagenisi Germasogeias, held the 3rd annual blood donation event in memory of the late referee Panos Theodorou. The event took place at the Germasogeia Cultural Center in Limassol, serving as a tribute to Theodorou’s dedication to the officiating community.

The initiative, which has become a recurring tradition, aims to promote social solidarity and humanitarian values beyond the sports field. Members of the refereeing association participated in the event, which was scheduled between 16:00 and 20:00. Organizers issued a public call for football fans and members of the general public to contribute, emphasizing the life-saving nature of the cause.
