Cyprus Tax Department mandates Tax For All portal for IBAN updates
Starting October 5, 2026, the Cyprus Tax Department will require all requests for the registration or modification of International Bank Account Numbers (IBAN) to be submitted exclusively via the Tax For All (TFA) portal. Taxpayers must authenticate their access using CY Login credentials to process these changes. As part of this transition, the department will no longer accept requests sent via email; any submissions received through non-authorized channels will be rejected.
To complete the registration or update, users must submit the electronically completed Form T.F. 2008 alongside an official IBAN certificate issued by their banking institution. The department explicitly stipulates that the declared IBAN must be registered in the name of the beneficiary to ensure payments are processed correctly. A detailed submission guide is currently available on the Tax Department’s official website.
This initiative is part of an ongoing strategy to digitalize public tax services in Cyprus. The move is intended to streamline administrative procedures and enhance the security and speed of financial transactions for taxpayers. No further exceptions or alternative submission methods are expected following the implementation date.
