Cyprus League schedule finalized and Coca-Cola Cup draw held

The Cyprus Football Association (KOP) has released the official schedule for the Cyprus League by Stoiximan, covering matchdays 6 through 16, which span from October 17, 2026, to January 3, 2027. A key highlight of the schedule is the first "eternal derby" between Omonia Nicosia and APOEL, which is set to take place on Saturday, November 21, 2026, at 17:00, with Omonia serving as the home team.

Simultaneously, the KOP conducted the draw for the first phase of the Coca-Cola Cup for the 2026-2027 season on September 25. Omonia, Pafos FC, and Apollon Limassol were exempted from this initial stage due to their participation in European competitions. The draw featured 11 top-division clubs and 12 second-division teams, resulting in ten pairing matches scheduled to begin on October 14. Additionally, Anorthosis, ASIL Lysis, and Enosis Neon Paralimniou were granted byes, advancing directly to the Round of 16.
