Cyprus and Lebanon discuss electrical interconnection project

Cypriot Foreign Minister Constantinos Kombos met with his Lebanese counterpart, Abdallah Bou Habib (referenced as Youssef Raji in local reports), on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly in New York on September 23, 2026. The discussions centered on a proposed electrical interconnection project between the two nations, which both officials identified as a priority for bilateral energy cooperation and regional stability.
