Limassol district initiates water infrastructure project worth 1.64 million euros

The Limassol District Self-Government Organization (EOA) has officially signed a contract for the construction of two new water reservoirs and accompanying pumping stations. The ceremony took place on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, at the EOA offices in Limassol, following a formal agreement with the selected contractor.

The project, which holds an estimated budget of 1.64 million euros, is designed to enhance and modernize the water supply infrastructure for the community of Fasoula and the Mesa Geitonia municipal district. Construction work is scheduled to commence in October 2026, with the total project duration projected to span until December 2028.

This initiative is part of a broader, ongoing strategy to upgrade and reinforce water distribution systems throughout the Limassol district to ensure more reliable service for local residents.
