Anorthosis Mouttagiaka appoints Stelios Trattos as new head coach

On the evening of Wednesday, September 23, 2026, the board of directors of Anorthosis Mouttagiaka announced the departure of head coach Dionysis Dionusiou. The club stated that the decision was made by mutual consent due to conflicting philosophies between the coach and the management.

Following the departure, the Limassol-based club moved quickly to appoint a replacement. On the morning of September 24, 2026, the team announced the hiring of Stelios Trattos as the new head coach, alongside his assistant Christos Petrou. The board emphasized that the decision was driven by the best interests of the club, noting that both Trattos and Petrou have prior experience with the team and possess deep knowledge of the current squad, which is expected to facilitate a smooth transition for the upcoming goals.
