Omonia head coach Henning Berg eyes milestone victory

Omonia Nicosia coach Henning Berg is approaching a significant career milestone, as he currently requires only five more victories to reach 100 wins during his tenure with the club. While the Norwegian manager prepares for upcoming domestic and European challenges, the team is currently navigating a period of reduced training intensity due to the international break.

A total of twelve players have been called up to their respective national teams, including Duvern (Haiti), Tanase (Romania), Balkovec (Slovenia), Satka (Slovakia), Fabiano, and several others from the men's, youth, and U19 squads. This absence limits Berg’s tactical training options at the Ilias Poullos facility but ensures the players maintain match fitness through high-intensity competition.

Following the break, the club aims to improve consistency and depth. Berg intends to rotate his squad effectively to manage the heavy fixture load, relying on contributions not only from forwards but also from midfielders and defenders who have recently bolstered the team's offensive output.
