Cyprus expands diplomatic ties at the UN General Assembly

On Wednesday, September 24, 2026, Cypriot Foreign Minister Constantinos Kombos held a series of diplomatic meetings on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly in New York. The meeting with Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov involved an open discussion on current international issues, while the conversation with Maldivian Foreign Minister Iruthisham Adam explored specific opportunities for deepening relations and expanding collaboration between the two countries.
