XM Group funds new CellThera Laboratory at Karaiskakio Foundation

On September 22, the XM Group signed a partnership agreement with the Karaiskakio Foundation to fund the establishment of a new facility titled 'CellThera Laboratory by XM'. This project aims to advance medical research and patient care within Cyprus. The new unit will be housed in a specialized, state-of-the-art space located within the existing premises of the foundation in Nicosia.

During the signing ceremony, Dr. Stavri Morti, Co-CEO of XM Group, emphasized the organization's commitment to supporting scientific programs that provide innovative treatments. The initiative seeks to build a sustainable national platform for cellular therapies, laying the necessary infrastructure to develop these treatments and make them accessible to patients in need. Dr. Pavlos Costeas, Executive Director of the Karaiskakio Foundation, expressed gratitude for the financial support provided by XM Group, which enables the implementation of this advanced project.

The collaboration represents a significant development in the domestic healthcare sector, focusing on human-centric social contribution. While the agreement has been finalized, the project is now set to move into the developmental phase to establish the required capabilities for future cellular therapy applications.
