Cyprus extends deadline for urban development plan submissions

The Department of Town Planning and Housing of the Ministry of Interior in Cyprus has announced an extension for the submission of reasoned opinions and suggestions regarding the development of the Local Plans for Nicosia, Limassol, Larnaca, and Paphos. The new deadline for these submissions is set for Sunday, November 15, 2026.

Interested parties must submit their feedback and supporting documentation exclusively through the digital 'Hippodamos' information system. To assist citizens in navigating the electronic portal, the department has provided a digital submission guide and established technical support channels, including the email address ippodamos@moi.gov.cy and telephone support at 22409535, available on weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Additional information regarding the status and development process of these four major urban plans can be found on the Department of Town Planning and Housing's official website.
